It's been awhile....

Well here goes another effort in the blogging world. I have been away for a while. Every time I would sit down and try to write I would get a feeling that there was no point. Despite my cheerful attitude 24/7 I can get quite discouraged sometimes. Do you ever feel like you are alone in a room full of people? Sometimes I do. Went to bed early last night,@ 8, and woke up @3 this morning, grabbed my Zune player and headphones and sat on the couch and started to listen to some random music. Some "It's a Beautiful Day", some "CannedHeat","Beatles", "Steppenwolf", "Fleetwood Mac", "Chris Tomlin", "Jars of Clay", and others. I came across two songs I'd like to share, one by a band called Rachel Rachel (Not a misprint, Rachel twice). The name of the song is called "I will stand by You" from the Way to my Heart album. Some of the lyrics go like this....

Ok that was the whole song, not just a lyric or two.
But what an awesome promise from God that we stand by Him, He will stand by us. God will never walk away from us.

The other song is by The Barlow Girls, called "I need You to love me."
One verse says this..

How awesome is that? Think about it, the God of this vast universe, who is the maker of all things big and small, wants you. (and I). That ought to get you pumped up.
I asked for direction from God several months ago and clearly got it. I am asking God now, what's next, I thinking I'm ready.

Can't write on this day, (Feb 15th) without mentioning my mom, she pasted away 9 years ago today. I love and miss her very much. We will celebrate her life again at my dad's house this afternoon after church. I blogged about her several months ago if your interested, it should still be somewhere on this blog.
